This weekend accomplished both my hopes and expectations and in some ways, went beyond any expectations I could have imagined.  By this I mean that we formed a relational and working team – no easy feat given that one vestry person resigned a week ago TODAY…. The possibilities are awesome if we are able to put into practice all we have identified to do in the weeks and months to come… It was, in my 36 years since ordination, the best meeting of church leaders I’ve ever experienced!  Thank you.

"Your workshop was very, very helpful.  What was achieved was everyone was able to get buy in.  It was really the consensus building and understanding of the issues and the differing perspective that enabled Niaz to create the final document.  Whenever I can get people to accept/tolerate other points of view and work together, all my hopes are exceeded. Bruce, you are good at what you do because you care about what you do.  I can’t say enough about how helpful your effort was."

"I heard comments such as 'very worthwhile',  'very productive' and 'excellent team building'.   Bruce facilitated our retreat expertly while unobtrusively, and he is to be commended.  I firmly believe that it was highly successful and I am awaiting the photographic summary of the retreat anxiously."

“AWESOME! This was the best part of the whole week!” ” I have never in my life been involved in anything as creative when applied to a business learning experience. It really brought it all together. I can only hope that I get the chance to see his work again. I trust that it will be saved.” “Excellent, excellent, excellent!! Bruce did a really good job capturing all that was being said. Outstanding!!” “Very interesting way to tie it all together. I really enjoyed seeing this grow each day.” “ He was amazing. His graphics were very helpful to document what we had done, and he caught everything and got it down!” “Uniquely talented individual with keen listening skills.”

"The purpose for the retreat was to help the department faculty understand its history, look at the present and consider its future – within the College, the University and its external environment.   Critical to the success of such an undertaking are the skills of the facilitator to build, in a delimited period of time, trust, openness and civility. Bruce did an incredible job of achieving the purpose for the retreat.  The faculty left the day’s activity with a feeling of accomplishment and collegiality that will hopefully carry forward into the year’s departmental work. I will carry the message of a job well done by Bruce to my colleagues across campus should any of them wish to undertake such an effort.   It is greatly appreciated."

"The evaluations have come back praising both the content of your presentation as well as your engaging presentation style. It is apparent that the program’s success is in large part because of your ability to connect with the NACUFS members in a way that they can relate to. The valuations suggest that the program made a tremendous impact on the participants. You should be proud of your role in helping another group of graduates more efficiently plan for and accomplish the major strategic initiatives on their campuses. The positive effects of this learning will undoubtedly be seen on their respective campuses well into the future."

"Bruce and Kris (Smith) worked with the department faculty for about a year and facilitated numerous meetings.  The RCLS Strategic Plan reflects greater careful thought than any other such plan I have seen in my many years in higher education.  Further I have seen a much greater sense of camaraderie as well as a stronger sense of united purpose in the department faculty members since beginning this process."
